Friday is for remembering what matters most.
In Jewish time, this is the sixth day of creation, when humankind was formed, and the world approached its completion. It is the day we are invited to partner with the Divine in embodied form.
Astrologically, Friday is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, relationship, and sensual harmony. It invites us to notice the sacred in the ordinary, to prepare not just our homes, but our hearts, for rest.
Friday is not just about doing. It is about honoring the sacred act of being with, with self, with others, with Source.
Practice: Touch your hands together. Breathe in: "I honor this day." Breathe out: "I prepare with love."
Reflection Prompt: Where in my life do I long for deeper connection? How can I offer love today, in a way that doesn’t drain me, but completes me?
Sacred Reminder: Love is not a performance. It is presence. It is preparation for something greater than ourselves.
As the Song of Songs whispers:
"I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine."
Let this Friday be a soft return. Let your acts of care be sacred. Let your heart know the beauty of enough.
With tenderness and light,
Melinda
